Not to sound like a D-ck or anything, but I'd rather people NOT POST BUILDS here, as I really don't care for what other people have come up with, at least not unless it relates to being a Bouncer/Force, or just any possible way a Force can use Jetboots. While it may not be the best class duo, it's still probably the most fun I could possibly have, with a main as a "Force" kept in mine (due to Jetboots mobility). But I'd like to see other people's thoughts on this. While yes, you "Could" use the Jetboots from the bouncer skill line turn into Melee power, still doesn't make very much sense, because why would you use Jetboots to begin with, if you're going to be Melee focused?Īlso forgot to mention I don't have any Rings as of right now, they just didn't seem to fit with a Force, or benefit a force by any means before, don't know if that has changed or not, I could just not be seeing the bigger picture when it comes to rings, "Meh".Īnyways, I know this is a rather long post, and I'm almost positive the answer is simply going to be "Bouncer/Force" simply won't work. Jetboots, first and foremost, are Tech based, so there is no reason as to why these two classes couldn't mingle with one another, it is just not making sense as to why they can't work together. While I don't mind the Bouncer class, paired up with a Force feels incredibly weak, again I've done research, and seen many posts, and threads saying these two classes just don't work together, but I actually want to make a fair attempt at making it work for myself, because it just doesn't add up as to what people are saying about the two. It honestly feels like going from a caterpillar, to a butterfly, the difference Jetboots make with a Force and how mobile they become is day, and night. The reason I use Bouncer, or Jetboots when I can (photon booster ones because any class can use them), is simply because of how mobile a Force can become while using them. However, I found the Force probably to be my favorite class in PSO 2. This had shown me a brand new perspective, and probably something I'd never do in ANY PSO game, which was be a Force. On the JP version of PSO 2, I really didn't mind the Bouncer, and simply specin'g everything into Melee, but during the NA launch, and having my friend pick this game up, I simply didn't want to be duplicate classes (I'm one of those people yes), so I mainly focused on Force, while he wanted to be the bouncer, because he had felt the Braver to be far too weak early game. With all this in mind, I was able to boost my tech output from about 2500, which at the time felt pretty powerful, to around 3300, with the new Homura Jet boots, and swapped my class to Bouncer/Force, mainly because this was the only way I was going to be able to use Force, with the Jetboots. I used to have the Photon Booster jet boots as well, as they are Tech focused, but opt'd out to the Homura, because I guess I sort of "Tried" to boost my Tech output damage wise. The photon booster gear was mainly, because any class can use them, regardless of what they are. The weapon I'm running as of now are the 13 star Photon booster weapons the Dragon Staff, Homura Jet Boots, and for grinding out exp on Advanced Quests, the 13 star Photon Booster Launcher. It's pretty hard for me to just change my units, and yes they are all +10 enhanced as of now as well. Not only that, but the set bonus gives me an extra +40 in each stat power wise as well. I honestly can't see a reason to change this gear, because each piece of the unit gives me +30 to +40 of every stat damage wise, (Melee, Range, Tech), and I honestly can't find anything else that's even close to giving me that stats wise. The reason why I'm wondering is because I have pretty out-dated gear, usually sign on just to do the dailies, because I've finished everything else, and leveling has become insanely boring for the most part.Ĭurrently, I'm my gear unit wise has always been the lighting wolf's gear from Advanced quests. I've done some research, found multiple reddit forums and so forth saying Bouncer/Force just absolutely won't work, if you're looking for even a sub-par Dps. This I'm guessing is a question I would have better answered on Reddit, and or the official forums, because honestly, we all "know" what steam forums are really for, and so I'll take a chance. So, coming from the JP version or from what little I've played of it, and having a better understanding now that the NA version is out, I have a simple question is it possible to make Bouncer/Force work?
